The three distinct nines each have their own unique character. The Mountain nine features dramatic elevation changes, scenic vistas and play amongst mature Ponderosa Pines on several holes. The Lake nine offers the most spectacular views. It climbs from the Clubhouse past Bingham Lake to the 5th green and 6th tee where you can see the entire front range from Pike’s Peak to Long’s Peak. From there, the Lake course tumbles down into the Valley Nine. The Valley nine is a links style layout in a high-plains setting. This nine has the highest slope rating of the three and features the diabolical 3rd hole, certainly the most challenging hole at The Pinery.
